“Before moving to Denver, 2 months ago, I was a regular client of Marina's. I've had a long history of lower back problems and deal with chronic pain on a daily basis. A bad car accident 3 years ago worsened my situation. I've tried several massage therapists and chiropractors with mixed results. My first visit to see Marina was in 2008, for a one hour massage. She is an excellent therapist and has really helped me deal with chronic back pain. She has a kind and gentle touch but her hands are also strong enough to get into my sore spots and pressure points to relieve stress and pain. I have also had wonderful experiences with her hot stone massage which is very relaxing and soothing. I always leave with a smile on my face, a little less stressed and an overall refreshing feeling. I've tried several different treatments with Marina, depending on my level of pain and different areas of discomfort. She specializes in several different types of integrated massage, hot stone treatment and custom massage or a combination of modalities. I've had hot stone massages in the past but Marina's version is unique and much more effective for me. She has been a godsend for my back problems and is very professional and caring. I don't know what I would do without her treatments! I work with computers and sit at a desk all day, probably the worst job for lumbar issues. I now go for treatment once or twice a month and always look forward to it; it has really made a big difference in my life and my ability to manage pain. Marina was very professional and asked me if I had any aches or pains that needed attention. The spa itself is in a cool part of Redondo Beach Village. It's a small place with a few rooms. Marina's room was fragrant with therapeutic scents, and the massage table was warm and comfortable.
After 90 minutes, I was so relaxed and rejuvenated. Since then, I have set up regular appointments for her service each month. It's about 25% cheaper than a Burke Williams, and the massage is much better. I recommend you try it out for yourself." Gary D.
"I came here after purchasing two "Lifebooker Loot" certificates for my mom and me to use as a "Girls Day Out" together. The certificates were for an hour long massage and an hour long facial. Unfortunately, my mom is unable to get facials and massage treatments at this time, so I have had to use both certificates. While disappointed that my Mom couldn't go with me, I am certainly enjoying the opportunity to spoil myself twice!!

Marina, the masseuse, has a delightful personality. After completing a form outlining your massage needs, she takes the time to listen to how you're feeling, what areas to avoid, what areas to focus on. But, unlike some other spas I've visited, she doesn't just listen - she really pays attention! I needed some serious work done on a knot in my shoulder. She patiently and diligently worked on the areas that needed attention the most.
